Fuel Surcharge
Triple G Express sincerely
appreciates the business tendered by each and every
customer. Throughout
the years our goal has been to provide exceptional
service while maintaining price competitiveness.
I hope each of you recognize and agree with
our philosophy.
Several months ago, we increased our overall
rates for the first time in company history.
Generally speaking they were well received.
Today, we are again putting out a company
wide publication, this time for a fuel surcharge
schedule.
Diesel fuel prices are
excessive, volital, and hard to predict.
In an effort to maintain stability within our
fleet of contractors, we have begun paying a fuel
surcharge in addition to the increased pay we gave
several months ago.
To help offset these expenses, the following
fuel surcharge schedule will be applied to all rates
charged by Triple G:
| FUEL
COST |
%
OF INCREASE |
| $1.200
TO $1.249 |
1% |
| 1.250
TO 1.299 |
2% |
| 1.300
TO 1.349 |
3% |
| 1.350
TO .1399 |
4% |
| 1.400
TO 1.449 |
5% |
| 1.450
TO 1.499 |
6% |
| 1.500
TO 1.549 |
7% |
| EACH
ADDITIONAL $.05/GALLON REPRESENTS A 1 %
INCREASE |
As is customary in our
business, the cost of fuel used is the national
average publisized by the Department of Energy
(hotline # 202-586-6966).
This schedule applies to all customers for
all rates. While
these additional charges may seem to be a burden, in
reality it is necessary to keep the flow of
business. Thank
you in advance for your cooperation.
Please contact your Triple G representative
if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

Randy P. Guillot
